Vineyard

My Domain is situated in the Languedoc near the Mediterranean sea, in the department of the Hérault at the first foothills of the Cévennes, 12 km north of Pézenas.

The town centers nearby Pézenas are Clermont l'Hérault, Agde, Cap d'Agde, Sète, Béziers and Montpellier.

The Languedoc Roussillon is the most vast wine-growing region in the world, not only by its surface and quality but also by the diversity of its wines.
Its richness of multiple soils and micro-climate offer us a lot of possibilities to elaborate vintage wines.
The lovers and passionates of vintage wines are not deceived, as here, we can offer them wines which astonish thanks to their exceptional qualities.

This is the reason why I decided to settle in my region to be able to optimize my chances to produce vintage wines.

The cultivation is situated in two communities : Neffiès and a nearby village which is part of the Faugères designation.

Sunniness is optimal and drainage excellent; a token of quality.
My different vines are Syrah, Grenache and Merlot to create my red and rosé wines; Viognier for my white wine.

The two parcels which I have selected to elaborate my vintage wines and my drained rosé - for the wine Virginie - are implanted on barren soil, gravelly, slightly calcareous with schistose areas offering all the chances to produce vintage wines.

I master small yields per acre to cultivate grapes of high quality.

My average production is 30 to 40 Hl/Acre for the vintage
Virginie rosé AOC
Nikita red AOC
Eric M. red AOC
« Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée : Official Quality Guaranteed Vintage».

The three other parcels are equally on barren soil and slightly calcareous.
The average production for my VDP's « Vin du Pays d'Occident : Western Vintage» are 40 to 60 Hl/Acre.
